ACCUMULATED SAVINGS OVER ONE YEAR
WHAT MADE THIS PROJECT UNIQUE?
The building’s parameters had become skewed over years of
adjustments. Automatic Controls identified the supply fan on the rooftop units’ were being overworked and rebalanced the school’s 91 VAV boxes- allowing the supply fan on the rooftop units to slow down, saving energy.
WHAT DOES THE DISTRICT SAY
“This is the third retro-commissioning project that Automatic Controls has performed for us. The program has produced great results and the plan is to continue RCx at other schools. Energy savings are achieved while still maintaining a comfortable environment for staff and students.”
