Government: How We Helped the St. Louis Arch & the Old Courthouse

Automatic Controls Equipment Systems is proud to be the building automation provider for two St. Louis historic landmarks: the Arch and the Old Courthouse.

Since 2011, ACES has been working with the National Parks Department to provide a comprehensive building automation system, ensuring seamless integration with critical building technology.

The most recent project in 2023 was to renovate the Old Courthouse, a $24.5 million renovation project that marks a significant endeavor to preserve the integrity of this architectural gem. Part of the renovation included the installation of a new HVAC system, an essential component structure to the building, overall enhancing its functionality.

With their proven expertise and commitment to excellence, ACES is proud to deliver innovative solutions that not only modernize the Old Courthouse but also uphold its historical significance. Through meticulous planning and execution, the project aims to revitalize the building while maintaining its authenticity and charm.

As with previous projects, ACES’ involvement underscores their dedication to preserving heritage and fostering sustainability. By leveraging advanced building automation technology, the project seeks to enhance energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and overall operational efficiency.

Government Buildings

Government buildings face challenges in managing energy consumption, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring the safety and security of their facilities.

Inefficient energy usage, resource wastage, and inadequate security measures can lead to increased costs, environmental impact, and potential security breaches.

Our energy solutions provide government buildings with centralized control and monitoring capabilities for various systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security.

This enables efficient energy management, resource optimization, and enhanced security measures to meet government sustainability and security requirements.
